Living a Minimalist Lifestyle
Hello friend and welcome back to my digital lifestyle journey. After feeling detached from so many things I use to love. I failed to mention that I decided to take a minimalistic approach to living in our new space. And ladies this can be hard if you are the initiator but don’t get discouraged. The key to embracing the minimalistic lifestyle is intentional.
So when I decided to attempt to practice a minimalistic lifestyle, my thoughts were to only own items that served a purpose within our lifestyle, and eliminate the things that we could now consider clutter. If we’re going to do this it would need to include clothing, home décor, furniture, automobiles, and his tools lol. Minimalism looks different from individual to individual, so it will really be up to you what you keep and what you get rid of based on the things that are important.
Decluttering
Find your inspiration. I begin by decluttering both our closets. Once I started considering when was the last time we wore it, if it even fits, or if it’s something we currently enjoy. It was then easy to bag up past and present items that were taking up space. I found that starting in the space where you can quickly make an impact can keep you motivated enough to continue on to declutter your next space.
Establishing some guidelines helped me get through the process of it all. for example, if I haven’t used it in the past year, I consider donating or selling it. For our home, I choose to start in spaces we most frequently use. Our kitchen, bedroom, closet, and lastly the garage.
While decluttering don’t forget to take inventory. Consider each item individually and decide whether it’s necessary, functional, or brings you enjoyment. A minimalistic lifestyle isn’t about getting rid of all of your possessions, but keeping the most essential items.
Hello, friend this book is visually stimulating and simplistic, it illustrates environments that feel as good as they look. Guided by ideas of well-being, balance, richness, and restraint. They may help your creative process. The book becomes insightful, inspirational, and visually poetic.

Minimalist Closet
When it comes to wardrobe, your closet is one of the easiest areas to intentionally or unintentionally accumulate more than you may require. One of the easiest ways to begin shrinking your wardrobe is by trying every damn thing on! Yes, I said it. Then get rid of anything that doesn’t fit or that you don’t feel confident wearing. Next, donate any shoes that aren’t comfortable. This should be easy lol. Yes, I am talking about the heels being ultra cute but killing your vibe within an hour of being somewhere. Yes, those shoes lol.
And here is something I am considering. Instead of purchasing one-offs you only wear once, consider renting clothing for special occasions rather than purchasing a new outfit that you may only wear once. Or something I can reassemble at your local seamstress.
Benefits of Minimalism
Finding your individual benefits of living a minimalistic lifestyle should differ from everyone else around you. Many people find it helps create physical, mental, and emotional freedom. I tend to agree because I didn’t realize my excessive wardrobe and meaningless household items. Would shortly become clutter-causing anxiety-inducing stress. So adopting a minimalistic lifestyle may help relieve some of that for you as well. Realizing you need less may help you save money as you refrain from purchasing things you don’t need. It certainly did for us.
In time you may also find minimalism helps reduce your attachment to physical things, which may help improve your mental health or increase your satisfaction with what you do have. Living with less may be the right choice if you’re feeling overwhelmed. Lastly, we have gotten more from living with fewer distractions reducing consumption and excessive shopping, and investing in fewer possessions of higher quality has been more sustainable for our household. Don’t forget to eat the meat of this message and simply spit out the bones you can’t use.
“I am beyond excited to have another space to share with you Every week! Thank you for being here!”
